Ironwood Crossing resident, your boundary public schools are Ranch Elementary, J.O. Combs Middle School and Combs High School.
Ranch Elementary is a beautiful three year old campus located at 43521 N. Kenworthy Ave. and serves students in grades preschool to fifth grade. Ranch Elementary is committed to high academic achievement through the use of 21st Century standards based curriculum and instruction that is grounded in principles of citizenship, equity and high expectations for all students. J.O. Combs Middle School is a school community where students pledge each day to do more than they have to do, treat others as they want to be treated, and become better people. Our faculty works diligently to help each Cougar support this pledge while providing opportunities for them to grow academically, socially, and personally. Academic growth and character building are two key focus areas throughout the school year. Located at 37611 N. Pecan Creek Drive, the Middle School serves students in grades six and seven with a comprehensive curriculum focusing on the four core subject areas while providing a wide array of elective courses. The staff at Combs Middle School works daily to build upon the many successes that occur. Our school community will continue to strive to be an excelling school as families and staff members partner with an energized desire to help each Cougar student experience as much success as possible. Combs High School is our newest facility which opened its doors in August of 2009. It is located at 2505 E. Germann Rd. This state of the art facility has over 600 computers and SmartBoard technology, in all classrooms as well as specialized equipment for students interested in TV Production. Combs High School currently serves students in grades 8-11 and will include a senior class beginning August of 2011 with our first graduating class in May, 2012. Visit our website at
