Community Amenities
Ironwood Crossing will be the premiere community for families in the southeast valley. The main features of this exciting new community are that there will be twenty parks throughout the neighborhoods, where you will find tot lots, ramadas, and basketball courts. That is roughly one park per 100 families. There will be plenty of open spaces with large trails throughout the community. View the Ironwood Crossing community map.
Aquatic Center
The aquatic center will feature two sections, one for smaller children that includes a huge splash pad, open park areas, a 25 foot unbrella, ramadas, and even restroom facilities. This area will be separate from the main pool area and fenced off so that water safety is realized. (We didn’t want the splash pad adjacent to the pool.) The second section, or main pool area will also have separate restroom facilities, and a giant sail shade structure will cover half of the gigantic 7,000 square foot pool to protect residents from the sun. There will also be 4 additional 25 foot umbrellas for ample shade.
Parks
Seeing the need for older kids to have their own area, adjacent to the aquatic center will be an older kids play area, with separate parking, 2 full court basketball courts, a multi-purpose grass field, and a grass area with a ramada. Sometimes older kids resent having to share their play area with younger kids, so we separated the play areas.
School
The K-6 Elementary is scheduled to open in the future, and is located right in the center of Ironwood Crossing.
Area Amenities
Located just 8 miles south of the 60 Fwy, Ironwood Crossing will be located at the center of shopping, grocery stores, golf, and theaters. Over 1 million square feet of retail is under construction or completed around the area. |
