Fulton Homes Announces First Round
of 'Heroes of Home Schooling'

Local homebuilder helps support families as they home-school students

Fulton Homes, Arizona's largest family-owned and -operated homebuilder, understands that times have changed since March 2020, when schools abruptly moved to online models. Now more than ever, the home has become central to both remote working and learning.

The Tempe-based homebuilder recognizes that during these times, it can be difficult for parents to provide an optimal learning environment for students as they take on the role of teacher for their children. In partnership with ALT AZ 93.3, Fulton Homes is announcing Staples Gift Card winners deemed, "Heroes of Home Schooling." The cards are to help pay for items that will create optimal home learning environments, including desks and school supplies.

"We recognize the frustration parents might have during this time," said Fulton Homes CEO Doug Fulton. "Setting up a space that is dedicated to your child's schoolwork can help keep them focused on the tasks. Whether it is a dedicated room, a different spot every day or a rolling homework station for smaller spaces, we want to help create a home-school environment that fits the needs of parents and their students."

The first winning parent is Kelly from Queen Creek. Just a day before she found out she was the winner, she had to tell her son that he could not have a new desk because they were unable to afford it. She said, "You have no idea how much this means to me and my kid. Thank you so much."

The second winner is Kristina from Glendale. "It blew me away that I won that. I was stressed and in tears about home schooling. So I signed up," she said. "It changed my son's life. He was able to get a new desk, monitor, computer, printer, and school supplies for the rest of this school year and next. He got everything he needed."

Parents are encouraged to visit ALT AZ 93.3's website to register for a chance to win a $600 gift card to Staples. Complete your home-school upgrade with a new desk, headphones or daily supplies needed for school. Four families will win over the course of this eight-week initiative.
