Fulton Homes, a top five Valley homebuilder in 2011, has sold 57 homes in the past three weeks alone. According to the company's sales reports, Fulton sold 15 during the second week of January, and 17 during the third week and 25 homes for the weekend ending January 29, 2012. In the first two weeks of the brisk sales, almost half of those homes were sold in the Fulton Ranch community in South Chandler. There were six sales in Freeman Farms, located in Gilbert, and three sales in both Ironwood Crossing and Geneva Estates, located in Queen Creek and Chandler, respectively. Last week, 13 homes were sold in Ironwood Crossing, six in Fulton Ranch, four in Freeman Farms and one each in the Geneva Estates and Ashcreek communities.

Doug Fulton, Fulton Homes CEO attributes several reasons for the uptick in sales. "Traffic has picked up. There is a renewed interest in new home sales," he said. "In addition, we offer customers what we feel is a better buying experience from start to finish."

Fulton says part of that experience is done virtually. He says homebuyers can establish an account on the Fulton Homes web site, then pick the community, floor plan and all of the amenities for their new home right there, before ever visiting a sales office or model.

"Customers can see that we offer quality homes in several locations with an option for nearly every budget. Our communities are places for families to really call home," said Fulton. "Our customers say from start to finish, they feel their needs are met by the sales staff and all those they work with during the home buying process." He adds they've also seen a good number of these recent sales as a result of their trade-in program.

In addition to the online customization, homebuyers can also hand pick nearly every other amenity for their home at the 13,000 square foot Fulton Homes Design Center in Tempe. The center houses thousands of top brand name appliances and fixtures for every room in the house.
