Fulton Homes, Tim & Willy Lead Packs 4 Kids
Providing the items a child needs to be ready for the first day of school
Teachers across the Valley agree that one important key to a successful school year for kids is getting off to a strong start. That's difficult for many students, whose families may not be able to provide them with all the school supplies they need.
Fulton Homes, along with KMLE's Tim and Willy, are asking for your help with Packs 4 Kids, a school supplies drive designed to make sure every student has the pencils, paper and other items they'll need in the classroom. The program benefits the Tim & Willy Fun-Dation.
"Having the proper supplies with give kids the confidence they need to fully participate in classroom activities from the very first day," said Fulton Homes CEO Doug Fulton. "We're asking everyone who can help to provide supplies that will help kids succeed in the classroom."
Among the most-needed items are paper are:
- Paper and notebooks, including pocket folders, three-ring binders, composition notebooks and index cards
- Writing instruments, such as pencils, crayons, washable and dry erase markers, colored pencils, highlights and pens
- Math supplies, including calculators, protractors and compasses
- Among other supplies are glue sticks, scissors, rulers, pencil sharpeners, pencil erasers and three-hole punches.

Donated items should be brought to KMLE studios at 840 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix, near the intersection of Roosevelt and Central.
The Packs 4 Kids event runs until Aug. 11. A live wrap-event will be held at Dave & Buster's in Tempe Marketplace.
