ENERGY STAR Refrigerators

GE ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators are at least 15 percent more energy efficient to operate than refrigerators that are not ENERGY STAR qualified and at least 50% more energy efficient than refrigerators 10 years ago. The decrease in greenhouse gas emissions over the life of all the GE ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators that were sold in 2005 is equivalent to eliminating more than 71,000 cars from US roads for an entire year. In some areas, these refrigerators make consumers eligible for utility rebates. Check with your local utility company to see if you're eligible.

ENERGY STAR Dishwashers

To meet the new 2007 ENERGY STAR criteria, dishwashers must be at least 41% more energy efficient than the current Federal standard. Choosing a new ENERGY STAR dishwasher instead of a regular dishwasher saves an average of $120 over the life of the product. The GE Profile dishwasher holds up to 16 place settings at once, so it's possible to wash every dish in a single load.

ENERGY STAR Washers

GE frontload washers exceed US Department of Energy standards by up to 60 percent, and 2007 Energy Star guidelines by 16 percent. (models WBVH6240H, WCVH6600H, WBVH5100H) The frontload washer's total energy and water savings can pay for the initial cost of the washer over its life. (Based on an average of water, energy, server over 12 years using 10 load/week compared to a typical top load washer, WWSE5240) The GE frontload's 3.8 cu. ft. stainless steel wash basket is big enough to hold 23 large towels, saving you time, water and energy. GE Profile Harmony® washer (model WPGT9360) exceeds US Department of Energy standards by 57 percent and exceeds 2007 ENERGY STAR guidelines by 8.7 percent. ENERGY STAR washers also save money in areas where consumers are eligible for utility rebate programs. Ask your local utility providers for details. The GE Profile Harmony washer's efficient operation results in energy savings of up to 47% (Compared to a typical topload washer, GE model WWSE5200B).
